Arcade Fire toured the world in a hurricane of a tour supporting their album 'Neon Bible' in 2007 and 2008. The follow-up to 'Funeral,' their first full length album, 'Neon Bible' is one that some listeners have found to be somewhat of a creeper; it takes some listening to love. But it's aging well, and may prove to be a masterpiece yet.

However, 'Funeral' is still their best so far, most agree. And "Wake Up" is a slowly building emotional barn-burner that steals the show. Originally designed to be the opening song of their show, it became one of their trademarks too good to lead off with. It's a rolling, monumental song that the audience comes to see [along with "Tunnels" and "Rebellion (Lies)"] and, as such, became the song with which they wrap up the festivities, in a grand way.
